According to a survey of 2,001 US adults ages 18 and older, 90% of job seekers in the last two years have used the internet as their top-seeking job tool to research jobs. 84% have applied to a job online. Those numbers signify that the internet now rivals personal and professional networks as the number one source for job hunters. Yet, there are still people who aren’t certain of their online job search capabilities. According to the Pew Research survey, 28% of Americans who are not currently working say it would be difficult to create a resume if they needed to do so. 22% of the group anticipate having difficulty completing an online job application.
